Manual Handling Training that makes a difference.
I attended Manual Handling Training Plus today - not your normal fall asleep training! Very engaging and useful. Thank you for a great day.
John B, Attendee from York Consortium of Drainage Boards.
As an employer you have a duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of your staff. Traditional manual handling training falls short for many physically demanding roles. Construction, agriculture, environmental services and similar industries demand a lot from your staff. They need to be physically ready for the challenges they face - this is why we made Manual Handling Training Plus.
The morning session provides all the information HSE needs your staff to have. This includes employer and employee responsibilities and equips them with the knowledge to complete manual handling risk assessments. Once that is complete our training really delivers for your staff...
In the afternoon we have an intense practical session at your facility. We teach your staff how to warm up for tasks, protect their back through effective core activation, and examine their individual needs. We use the objects they need in their job and examine how to lift and move them in a biomechanically safe and efficient way. We give them principles that they can apply to safely and effectively move through any task.

I have never attended manual handling training that prepared me for physically demanding roles in the environmental sector.
Manual Handling Training Plus is the cross over between my Personal Training background and my roles with environmental charities. We need our body to work hard for us long term, this training gives you everything you need to care for your body before, during and after a physically demanding day.
Every attendee will leave Manual Handling Training Plus with new ways to care for their body at work.
